Ryan Buck, PhD

Dr. Ryan Buck has over 20 years of experience working with higher education institutions around the world. For the last 15 years, he has advised thousands of scholars, students, and organizations interested in international engagement. Dr. Buck has served as dean at multiple institutions as well as senior international officer, vice president, executive director, and board chairman in Texas and New York. Dr. Buck has a Ph.D in Public Policy from the New School University in New York City and possesses a master's degree in international politics from the University of North Texas. Having lived in Texas, Russia, and the United Kingdom, Dr. Buck permanently resides in the New York City metropolitan area.

Sonia McLaughin

Sonia Alexandra McLaughlin is an operations and project management specialist with extensive experience in environmental sustainability, water conservation, and international development projects. She has led initiatives on coastal resilience, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable resource management. With a strong background in financial operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, Sonia is passionate about developing partnerships, facilitating cross-cultural collaboration, and implementing operational efficiencies to drive meaningful impact. Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Project Management Professional.

Adriana Gaviria, PhD

Dr. Adriana Gaviria Duque is a recognized education leader in Latin America specializing in partnerships and mobility. Receiving a prestigious Fulbright scholarship to pursue a Ph.D in the United States, Adriana returned to Colombia after earning her doctorate to serve as the Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission in Colombia, where she sent hundreds of Colombians to study in the United States at top-ranked universities. She has a dual degree in Anthropology and Economics from Universidad Los Andes and a master's degree from the University of Barcelona, Spain. She maintains residences in Bogota and New York.

Manuel Goel, MA

Manuel Goel, M.A. has worked throughout the Americas advising students and families on pathways to studying at universities. An expert on international cooperation and mobility, Manuel has spent the last twenty years working with universities in the United States and Mexico as well as working closely with government agencies in Canada and Mexico. Bilingual and bicultural, Manuel resides in Merida, Mexico, and connects one-on-one with students and families providing sound advice throughout Latin America. Manuel has a law degree from Universidad Del Valle De Toluca and a master’s degree in international affairs from Texas State University.
